What's an at-home family session like?

It's a little like having homemade pancakes on Sunday morning. Or an impromptu dance party in the kitchen. Or curling up with coffee in your favorite sunny spot. In other words ... at-home family sessions just feel right.

It is not...

Photos of your decor — your home itself has very little to do with the session!

• A documentary session — I'll offer prompts just like a would during an outdoor session, all while making space for authentic moments of connection, tenderness, and joy

• Only for those with magazine-worthy homes — all I need to create magical, heartfelt imagery is a window that gets great morning light and people who aren't afraid to show their love for each other.

I'll work with you every step of the way — from learning about your family to planning outfits to choosing and designing your print art.

• Spend quality time loving on your family while I photograph and offer light, natural-feeling prompts.​ No stress, no stiff posing, no uncomfortable outfits.

• Great for families with with any age children!

• Session will last 1.5-2 hours; sessions typically start at 9:30 or 10 a.m. for best light

• After your session, we'll design how you'd like to experience your images. Many families begin with an Heirloom Album — the heart of their collection — so that every image and moment can live together in one place, for generations to come. We can then add Heirloom Wall Art or Fine Art Prints to create something truly personal for your home.
