The Why
Connection. Legacy. Real moments. This limited edition event was born from the belief that we should start the season with meaning, intentionality, and togetherness. It's a time to slow down, to highlight connection and love, and to celebrate and honor all your family means.
The goal is for this to be a time where everyone is free to be themselves, show their love as loudly or as tenderly as they want, and to walk away understanding that the best photos come from simply being together.
Now ... why film? For me, film is where my work and creativity shine! It's the beating heart of sincere family imagery. This means better images for you. Also, the colors just can't be beat.
Why Film?
Film is not just how I shoot — it’s why this experience feels different. Film is the beating heart of sincere family imagery. It holds light and emotion in a softer, more honest way. Each image I create is made with intention, so nothing is ever rushed or excessive. There's no instant preview — just trust, presence, and anticipation. The photos we'll create feel more like memories than snapshots.
Film not only changed the way I photograph families, but also the way my families experience being photographed; it feels like taking a deep, relaxing breath together. With digital, we can take hundreds of photos in minutes. With film, every frame matters — and that changes everything.
