I'll just jump right in on this one...
1 // You haven’t taken photos with your parents or siblings since that 1990s Olan Mills shoot. Even though you’ve created a little family of your own, don’t forget about the one you came from, the one that made you who you are. Round up the original gang for an updated (and way less awkward) photo session. I guarantee this will mean the world to your parents.
2 // Your parents and your children have an amazing relationship. Your parents love your little ones like their own, so treat them to a special grandparent-grandchildren session. Not only will your parents appreciate the one-on-one time, but your kids will treasure these photos for the rest of their lives.
3 // Your best friend is coming to town. Let's admit that half the fun of hanging out with your best friend is taking way too many pictures. This time, say no to selfies and yes someone doing the work for you — so you can live in the moment. After all, who knows when you’ll see each other again?
4 // You got a new pet, or are about to say goodbye to an old one. Pets become very real members of our families, and having one enter or leave our lives is an important time to capture.
5 // You feel good about yourself. Maybe you’ve survived a rough patch and come out a stronger person. Maybe for the first time in your life, you’re really, truly happy (and you accept that your flaws make you beautiful).
6 // You love your love. You don’t have to be freshly engaged to deserve a session with your SO. Love of all kinds — and ages — is a reason for beautiful photos.
7 // Just because! That’s really the whole point of this post — you don’t need a reason to treat yourself to beautiful photos. Don't wait until your children are a certain age or something "big" happens in your life. Your life and relationships are special and deserve to be documented with gorgeous, real photographs.

I totally agree when you said that we don't need a reason to get a photo session done or wait until our kids reach a certain age. With that in mind, I will make sure that I will hire a newborn photography professional once I give birth this year. It will definitely be a great experience and will help us have a record of our first child's growth which is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
