LIMITED EDTION OFFERING
At-Home Summer Memory Session
Bare feet in the grass, sticky popsicle hands, and the sound of sprinklers & laughter at golden hour — what could be more magical?
Being able to return to it decades from now.
The feel of the session
This isn’t about perfectly posed photos. There’s no pressure to perform, no expectation to “get it right.” We won't worry about matching clothes, perfect hair, or well-behaved anything. This is a no-stress, live-in-the-moment session that fits seamlessly into your real life — because it is. You only get a handful of summers like this with your kids — let’s bottle up one magical, meaningful evening forever.
We’ll have fun doing things like…
-
Running through the sprinkler as the sun starts to dip
-
Eating your kids’ favorite cold treat
-
Making wishes on dandelions
-
Dinner on the deck and games afterward
-
Lying in the grass, finding pictures in the clouds
-
Swinging, sliding, and being completely silly
-
Playing your family’s favorite backyard games
-
Making space for your family to be exactly who they are in this stage of life
What's included
Included in your booking:
-
A full at-home session (about 1.5 hours) — a time for you to experience true, undistracted presence with your family
-
A mini home video-style film to serve as a moving memory of the evening — I'll preserve the voices and movements you never want to forget, that a photo simply can't
-
A $100 credit toward an Heirloom Album or Lite Album
A session fee of $395 is due to reserve your session. The session fee covers the time of the session itself, the creation of your images, and the mini film. From there, your total investment depends on the print art and/or digitals your family chooses.

A dreamy evening made tangible
How will you preserve the joy & beauty we create during your session? Digital photos alone won’t do it — you’ll need something tangible, high-quality, and beautifully designed to seal the deal.

About me
Hi! I’m Laura, the photographer behind Laura Richards Photography. I’m a child of summer in the 90s, which means there’s a special spot in my heart for Walmart kiddie pools, dashing through a cold sprinkler, and brightly colored novelty ice cream (who else loved Flintstones Push-Pops?!).
Although those days are now a memory (that I can thankfully return to via photos and videos), I try to instill that same summer feeling in my own boys each year. To do this is to relive my own childhood — and that is such a gift to me.
For the past decade, I’ve been documenting families in a way that feels honest, nostalgic, and deeply personal. My goal is to offer you a warm, stress-free experience and a tangible record you can return to decades from now and remember how those moments felt.
