An At-Home Session with the Cox Family | Charlottesville Family Photographer

When I first worked with the Cox family in 2021, they had one little boy who was about to become a big brother. At our latest session in May, he is now the oldest of three sweet boys! It's been such a joy and the biggest honor to watch their family grow.


I was so excited when Chelsea said she would be up for an at-home family session this time around, despite her concern that their home didn't get enough morning light. I told her not to worry! With a trained eye, I narrowed in on the spaces in their home that would work best — including having everyone poke their heads out of a window! We also spent some time playing and eating popsicles in their beautiful backyard (a must with three little boys).


At-home family sessions add such an extra layer of warmth, familiarity, and authenticity to your photos. Your children feel comfortable and are typically really excited to have someone new come to their house. I'm so happy I got to share this experience with the Cox family — keep scrolling to the see the magic that ensued!
